Cloud Headshot

I read all the comments I got about my shading style, and I decided to try a few things out, like "sharpening" my shading a bit, this was going to just be cell shading but...I softly shaded some of it, and liked it, so I MAY take the soft & cell combined approach, maybe, mixed shading you know the drill

And I paid close attention to *Jewel-Thief's comment, which I found VERY useful, as it explained in depth, and I think I may try those points out...I noticed that she mentioned something about the shading on spines are important to pay attention to, because not every spike is shaded the same, some might be darker on account of shadows, or whatever, I tried making Cloud's spine here lighter at the top, and darker at the bottom...

Anyway, I want to know what you guys think of this :3
Also I used texture not only on the background but on the character as well, and I used more than one color for shading, I hope it looks good though ;;;;

I need to tackle full body though...
